Psalmcast transforms your personalized Scripture-based guidance into a podcast-style audio devotional — like having your own spiritual companion narrating the insights from your journal.

What Is Psalmcast?

Every time you journal and receive guidance, Psalmlog captures six meaningful sections — from emotional support to encouragement. Psalmcast takes that guidance and narrates it as a warm, professionally voiced audio episode, complete with a branded intro and outro. It's your personal devotional, ready to listen whenever and wherever you need it.

Psalmcast availability: Faith Builder subscribers receive 5 new episodes per month. Shepherd subscribers receive approximately 50 episodes per month. Replaying any episode you've already generated is always free and unlimited. Psalmcast is not available on the Free or Seeker plans.

How to Generate an Episode

Open any journal entry that has already received guidance.
Scroll below your guidance sections.
Click Generate Psalmcast Episode on web, or tap it on mobile.
Choose your preferred voice — male or female.
Wait a moment while your episode is created.
Your episode begins playing automatically once it's ready.

Important: Generating a new episode counts against your monthly limit. Replaying an episode you've already created is always free — listen as many times as you'd like.

Your Psalmcast Library

Every episode you generate is saved to your personal Psalmcast library, so you can revisit them anytime.

On web: Click Psalmcast in the sidebar navigation.
On mobile: Tap the Psalmcast tab in the bottom navigation bar.

Your library displays all generated episodes sorted newest first. Each episode card shows the entry title, date, duration, and play status. Unplayed episodes are marked with a dot so you can easily spot what's new.

The Mini Player

When you start listening, a persistent mini player appears at the bottom of your screen. You're free to navigate anywhere in the app while your episode continues playing. On mobile, playback continues in the background and shows on your lock screen — so you can listen while you go about your day.

Offline Listening (Mobile)

Want to listen without a connection? You can save episodes directly to your device.

Tap the download icon on any episode in your library.
The episode is saved for offline listening.
Manage your downloaded episodes in Profile → Psalmcast Storage.

This is perfect for flights, areas with spotty service, or simply keeping your favorites close at hand.

Tips for Getting the Most from Psalmcast

Be selective with generation. Save your monthly episodes for entries that were particularly meaningful or that you'd like to revisit in a different way.
Build it into your routine. Listen during commutes, walks, or quiet time to let the guidance settle deeper.
Revisit older episodes. Guidance often resonates differently over time — an episode from weeks ago may speak to you in a new way today.
Try both voices. You might find that one voice feels more natural for certain types of entries.
