Managing Your Subscription

Psalmlog makes it simple to manage your subscription, switch plans, or update your payment details. Everything happens through your Profile page and the secure Stripe billing portal — here's how it all works.

Psalmlog's Paid Tiers

Psalmlog offers three paid tiers, each with monthly and annual billing options:

Seeker — $9.99/month or $99.99/year (save 17%). Includes 30 sessions per month, full 6-point guidance, mobile app access, PsalmStory, and export.
Faith Builder — $19.99/month or $179.99/year (save 25%). Includes unlimited sessions, 30-day guidance context, voice journaling, Psalmcast, basic insights dashboard, 20+ premium templates, and calendar view with sync.
Shepherd — $34.99/month or $299.99/year (save 29%). Includes unlimited sessions, extended guidance context, unlimited voice, full Psalmcast, in-depth insights with trends, weekly pulse, and premium plus custom templates.

All paid tiers include a 7-day free trial, mobile app access, multi-language Bible translations, and the ability to export your journal entries.

Viewing Your Plan Status

Go to your Profile page.
Find the Subscription section.
Here you'll see your current tier name, billing cycle (monthly or annual), subscription status (active, trialing, or canceled), and your next billing date.

Opening the Billing Portal

To make changes to your subscription, click Manage Subscription in the Subscription section of your Profile. This opens the secure Stripe billing portal where you can upgrade, downgrade, switch billing cycles, cancel, or update your payment method.

Upgrading Your Tier

When you upgrade to a higher tier, the change takes effect immediately. You'll have access to your new features right away. Upgrades are prorated — you'll only pay the difference for the remainder of your current billing cycle, so you're never paying double.

Downgrading Your Tier

If you downgrade to a lower tier, the change takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You'll keep all of your current tier's features until then. When the new billing cycle starts, your plan will switch to the lower tier automatically.

Switching Between Monthly and Annual Billing

You can switch between monthly and annual billing through the Stripe portal. Annual plans save you between 17% and 29% depending on the tier. When you switch to annual billing, you'll be charged the annual rate and your next billing date will update accordingly.

About the 7-Day Free Trial

Every paid tier starts with a 7-day free trial. During your trial, you have full access to all the features included in that tier. You can cancel anytime during the trial period to avoid being charged. Please note that trials are limited to one per 90-day period to keep things fair for everyone.

Canceling Your Subscription

You can cancel your subscription at any time with no cancellation fees. Here's what to expect:

Go to Profile → Subscription → click Manage Subscription.
Select Cancel plan in the Stripe billing portal.
You'll retain access to all your current features through the end of your billing period.
After that, your account reverts to the Free plan.

Your data is safe. All of your journal entries and guidance are preserved when you cancel. You don't lose anything — you'll just have Free plan access until you choose to subscribe again.

Updating Your Payment Method

To update your credit card or switch to a different payment method, open the Stripe billing portal from Profile → Subscription → Manage Subscription. From there, you can add a new card, remove an old one, or set a different default payment method.

Tips

Check your plan status any time from the Subscription section on your Profile page.
Take advantage of annual billing if you plan to use Psalmlog long-term — the savings are significant.
Start with the free trial to explore a paid tier before committing. Cancel within 7 days if it's not the right fit.
Upgrading? Don't worry about timing. Prorated billing means you only pay for what you use.
