Managing Your Account
Managing Your Account
Your Profile page is where you manage your personal information, preferences, and account settings. Reach it from the bottom of the sidebar on the web, or from the top bar in the mobile app.
Updating Your Profile Picture
- On your Profile page, select your avatar at the top.
- Upload a new photo from your device.
Your updated picture appears across the app — in the sidebar, on your Dashboard, and on your sessions.
Editing Your Name
- On your Profile page, find the Edit Name section.
- Enter your updated name.
- Save.
Your name appears in your guidance and on your Dashboard.
Changing Your Password
Note: This option is only available if you signed up with email. If you signed up with Google or Apple, your password is managed through that account.
- On your Profile page, find the Change Password section.
- Enter your new password — at least 8 characters, with an uppercase letter, a lowercase letter, a number, and a special character.
- Select Update Password.
Forgot Your Password?
- Go to the login page and choose Forgot Password?
- Enter your email address.
- Check your inbox for a reset link.
- Follow the link and set a new password.
Updating Your Personalization
Your personalization preferences shape how your guidance meets you. Update them anytime from the Personalization section of your Profile:
- Age range — 13–17, 18–29, 30–44, 45–59, 60+
- Faith journey — Exploring, New Believer, Growing in Faith, Mature Believer, Reconnecting
- What brings you here — up to 2 goals (Peace from Anxiety, Biblical Wisdom, Growing Faith, Relationships, Processing Emotions, Building a Habit)
What Else Lives on Your Profile
- Export — download your journal as a CSV backup, an entry PDF, or a devotional book.
- Subscription — your current plan, status, and next billing date, plus access to the billing portal.
- Psalmcast Storage — manage episodes you've downloaded on mobile.
Two more account areas sit just outside your Profile:
- Psalmstory Links — under Sessions, where you manage or revoke anything you've shared.
- Refer & Earn — in the sidebar, for the affiliate program.
Deleting Your Account
If you'd like to permanently delete your Psalmlog account:
- Scroll to the bottom of your Profile page.
- Select Delete Account.
- Confirm by entering your email address.
- Select Confirm Delete.
You don't need to cancel your subscription first — any active subscription is canceled automatically as part of the deletion.
This action is permanent and irreversible. It removes your sessions and guidance, your personal notes, your Psalmcast episodes, your tracked next steps, your notifications and calendar integrations, your exported files, and your login itself. Any Psalmstory links you've shared stop working immediately.
Want to keep a copy? Download an export before you delete. Once the deletion runs, nothing can be recovered.
