Managing Your Account

Your Profile page is where you manage your personal information, preferences, and account settings. Access it by tapping your name or avatar in the sidebar (desktop) or bottom navigation bar (mobile).


Updating Your Profile Picture

  1. On your Profile page, tap your avatar at the top.
  2. Upload a new photo from your device.
  3. Your updated picture will appear across the app — in the sidebar, Dashboard, and your journal entries.

Editing Your Name

  1. On your Profile page, find the Edit Name section.
  2. Enter your updated name.
  3. Tap Save.

Your name appears in your journal guidance and on your Dashboard.


Changing Your Password

> Note: This option is only available if you signed up with email. If you signed up with Google, your password is managed through your Google account.

  1. On your Profile page, find the Change Password section.
  2. Enter your new password.
  • Must be at least 8 characters with an uppercase letter, lowercase letter, number, and special character.
  1. Tap Update Password.

Forgot Your Password?

If you're locked out of your account:

  1. Go to the login page.
  2. Tap Forgot Password?
  3. Enter your email address.
  4. Check your inbox for a password reset link.
  5. Tap the link and set a new password.

Updating Your Personalization

Your personalization preferences help Psalmlog tailor your experience. You can update these anytime:

  • Age range — 13–17, 18–29, 30–44, 45–59, 60+
  • Faith journey — Exploring, New Believer, Growing in Faith, Mature Believer, Reconnecting
  • What brings you here — Choose up to 2 goals (e.g., Peace from Anxiety, Biblical Wisdom, Growing Faith, Relationships, Processing Emotions, Building a Habit)

To update, go to the Personalization section on your Profile page, make your changes, and save.


Deleting Your Account

If you'd like to permanently delete your Psalmlog account:

  1. Scroll to the bottom of your Profile page.
  2. Tap Delete Account.
  3. Confirm by entering your email address.
  4. Tap Confirm Delete.

This action is permanent. All your journal entries, guidance, personal notes, and account data will be removed and cannot be recovered. If you have an active subscription, make sure to cancel it first through the billing portal.
